Times are tough, and you don't need to worry if you cannot purchase the supplies needed for your child. Communities in Schools has teamed up with Staples, Walmart and the Carteret County Association of REALTORS® to offer school supplies to families who are struggling financially, through "Stuff the Bus".
At 10:00 AM On Thursday, August 18th, 2011 bring your child's supply list to the Carteret County Association of REALTORS® Building, (Located at 121 N. 28th St. in Morehead City) and they will help you fill the needs.
If you live in the area and would like to donate supplies to the program, drop them off at the CCAR Office before the 18th (M - F, between 9 AM and 5 PM), or you can bring them to Pine Knoll Shores Realty located at 320 Salter Path Road in Pine Knoll Shores. We'll make sure they get to the Board office in plenty of time for distribution.

Hi Amy,
Great post...liked the pics! Thanks for sharing.
Have a great weekend!
Amy- I love the colorful geometrics! I loved getting a new box of crayons when I was a wee one. And what a great idea for the Realtors to work with some of the retailers to offer supplies through the "Stuff the Bus"!
Amy, nice job getting this post out. I agree with Kathy about Realtors getting involved with retailers...too bad schools need our help like this...if only things were run...better.
Beautiful post with a great and timely message Amy. Helping those less fortunate get the supplies they need for school is a much needed activity.
Great post Amy. I know how excited the children get about their school supplies and I'm proud to be part of making sure none of them are without. Thanks for all your efforts. See you at the bus!
